Oklahoma Girls State Dress Code

DRESSES *Dresses which expose a bare back (spaghetti straps , halter tops, low-cut, see through) are prohibited! If you have a dress like this, a cardigan or blazer must be worn when not in the dorms! *Make sure your dress is no more than 4 inches above your knees! *Excessively tight clothing is prohibited!

SKIRTS *Make sure your skirt is no more than 4 inches above your knees! *Excessively tight clothing is prohibited!

PANTS *No denim (pants, skirts, etc.) is permitted except on designated recreational times. *Excessively baggy or tight clothing is prohibited!

TOPS *Tops which expose a bare back (spaghetti straps , halter tops, see through) are prohibited! If you have a top like the before mentioned, a cardigan, blazer or other tasteful cover-up must be worn when not in the dorms! *Low-cut tops are also prohibited!

Helpful reminders! *Bringing a cardigan, blazer or other tasteful cover-up is necessary if you have sleeveless, bare back, etc. dresses or tops… but it also helps because the many facilities we will be in on campus have varying temperatures and can get cold! *Bring shoes that are comfortable to wear all day and for lots of walking – it’s acceptable to bring walking shoes but you must change into your business casual shoes before entering various meetings! *Tennis shoes and appropriate length athletic shorts are acceptable for recreational time. *Nothing excessively baggy or tight is allowed. *No denim is allowed except on designated recreational times. Denim cannot have holes, rips, tears, be frayed, etc.)
