Rosetta Stone Answer the questions on the worksheet. STARE the worksheet. Hand in the worksheet for a grade.

Rosetta Stone Introduction Read the Introduction aloud as a class and discuss the finding of the Rosetta Stone Assign each student a number 1-7. Students read their portion and write 3-4 important ideas in complete sentences of seven words or more. Each student writes the title of his section in the “Main Idea” section of the Cornell notes. The three to four important ideas are written in “Notes.”

Rosetta Stone After 20 minutes, have members from the same numbers join in groups. PRACTICE MOVING INTO GROUPS In the groups of the same numbers, discuss your responses and decide on the three or four best. Write these in your composition books labeled “FINAL CHOICE” On a large sheet of butcher paper, write your number, title and main ideas.

Rosetta Stone Hang your posters, from 1-7, in the hallway. Each group starts at a different poster and copies the title, number and main ideas. When the teacher claps her hands twice move to the next poster. When you have written all seven items, return to the classroom.

Rosetta Stone After studying the Rosetta stone write a one-half page paper as to why the Rosetta Stone was so important to the world that wars were fought over it. DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD
