3. Influences on Career Choices
Everything and everyone around you can influence your choice of career.
The people you know -- your family, teachers, friends, coaches, community members, and others -- often have the greatest effect on your career decisions. These individuals can play both a positive and negative role.
By understanding how the many influences affect you, you will be able to make the choices that lead to career success.

4. Jigsaw Reading Activity
Divide into 4 groups.
One student from each group will be the group leader.
Each group will be assigned one section of today’s reading.
Within your group, you will read over your assigned segment (this can be done individually or aloud, your group can decide).
