Configuration and Monitoring 3DVision Configuration and Monitoring

Agenda Features Configuration Mode Advance Mode FW update SCADA integration Demo mode Hands-On

Features The 3DVision enables real-time assessment of inventories of bulk solids stored in vessels of any type or size Provide managers with accurate and timely information on which to base critical decisions for successful plant management The 3DMultiVision works in conjunction with the 3D Solids Scanner The application collects data from the monitored vessels and generates reports that can be used to increase operational efficiency and provide valuable real-time and historical data The 3DMultiVision enables you to perform the same functions for groups of vessels, even across multiple sites in large geographic regions, combines and merges the data, and generates reports Managers and staff with appropriate authorization can view this information from any location in the world over a common LAN, WAN or wireless communication

Features (cont.) Demo mode for sales purposes The 3DVision is limited to a single vessel and used in Multi Scanner systems Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 must be installed on the computers running the 3DVision Server and clients (Provided in the installation package) Install the 3DVision Server application on a dedicated computer Install the Client application on customer’s PCs Installation is made by a simple setup wizard Server application: Always runs in background (make sure it is also located at the startup folder of Windows) Multiple remote clients can be connected at the same time Stores the history and logs of measurements Demo mode for sales purposes

Features (cont.) Two modes of operation: Device Configuration (default) Advanced Connection Advanced Multi-Server – Multi-Client application Manage multiple vessels – 3DMultiVision Easy-to-use graphic interface 3DMultiVision is free for use for 30 days, than a license is required Default TCP ports in use: 22220, 22221, 22222 and 22223 Hierarchy organized: Sites – Vessels – Scanners

Configuration Mode Simple intuitive way of configuring a device Work flow: Select Connection details Select polling Address Connect to the scanner Use Configuration Wizard

Advance Mode Server-Client topology Project with hierarchy: Site-Vessel-Scanner Requires license to activate 3DMultiVision Advanced features such as reports, materials and users management

Update Firmware Update FW is necessary before every new installation Positioned at Device-> Device Activations When dialog window opens, Select “Update FW” Tab Select scanner or scanners to be updated from scanner list Press brows button, and Select LDR file Press start update

SCADA Integration The 3DVision and 3DMultiVision has integration capabilities (Multi or Single scanner systems). Positioned at Tools -> Server Options Under Server Option, select SCADA integration. In order to make the integration the customer should provide a Port number that will make the link between the SCADA and Server. The Server is passive, and provides info as per SCADA request
