1 Configuration Of A Pull Network

2 REQUIREMENTS Working easescreen MMS (>= v8.5)
Working easescreen POV-Client (>= v8.5) MMS accessible from all POVs at port (or adequate)

3 MMS Configuration Connect with the Configuration-Manager to the MMS.
Open Properties and Clients. Add a new client and select Pull Mode. Notice the automatically generated system ID (best store it in a text file - as it has to be entered at the POV). Click OK, Apply and Close to close the Properties window.

4 Setup of the Pull-POV (part 1)
Edit the povclient.ini located in the install directory (normally C:\FeldTech\). Enable the line PullHost=Your MMS IP by removing the semicolon and entering the server IP address or FQDN. Optionally you can change the default values of the pull port and pull interval. So if needed: remove the semicolon and set an appropriate value.

5 Setup of the Pull-POV (part 2)
Edit the povclient_id.ini text file located in the install directory (normally C:\FeldTech\). Replace the ID with the system ID generated beforehand at the MMS. After having modified the two INI files (povclient.ini and povclient_id.ini ) appropriately do restart the POV-Client.

6 Check the Setup In the Configuration-Manager do open the detailed log window. Manually initiate a connection from the pull client by pressing CTRL+ALT+C while the easescreen pov client software runs. Check the log: The POV-Client should connect and download it's settings.

7 Optional Steps Update the user rights to make the pov accessible.
To see the updated properties in the Screen-Manager or Configuration-Manager do reconnect to the MMS.
