Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your request to God; and the peace of God…will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).

Jesus’ Ministry

Temptation Luke 4:1-2 - And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led about by the Spirit in the wilderness for forty days, being tempted by the devil…

1 John 2:15-16 Do not love the [ways of the] world…For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful humankind, the lust [coveting] of the eyes and the boastful pride [conceit] of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.

John 1:4-5 In Him was life, and the life was the light of all people. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend [overpower] it.

Spiritual Truth: What darkness [or the Dark One] cannot comprehend, it cannot overpower. Col. 1:13 & Rom. 8:14

How Should we then live?

A new birth date Creator God, through the redemptive work of Jesus the Christ, I receive your forgiveness and cleansing. I invite you to come into my heart, to take control of my life. By faith, I follow you as my Savior and Lord. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Empower me to live according to your will, for your glory. In Christ’s name, Amen.
