1. The Our Father Prayer Its meaning.

2. Our Father  These words describe God's nature and character and summarize the truth of being and how important he is to us.

3.  Jesus explains that God's nature is to be in Heaven and man's to be on Earth, but we look up to him and follow his ways. who art in heaven

4. hallowed be your name  Gods name is holy and is looked at as something that inspires awe and reverence

5. Your kingdom come,  We are anticipating and having faith in the return of Christ and also seeking that God will set up His kingdom in our hearts.

6. Your will be done  The request for “thy will be done” is God’s invitation to “join him in making things down here the way they are up there.” Which can be done by following the 7 gifts of the holy spirit.

7.  Do the Lord’s will as the angels do, and follow the 7 gifts of the holy spirit and always have faith. On earth as it is in heaven

8. Give us this day our daily bread,  Give us the food so we can sustain life as well as the food of the Spirit, so we can keep you with us.

9. and forgive us our trespasses  Forgive our sins

10. as we forgive those who trespass against us;  As we forgive those who have sinned against us.

11. and lead us not into temptation  Keep us from being tempted to do things that are against God's will.

12. but deliver us from evil.  If we are tempted, keep us from falling into that temptation.
