Principal objective INTRODUCTION Obtain the new skills for the furniture sector and to elaborate the training material to facilitate the acquisition of these new skills. Defining the different and future scenarios in which companies are going to find in the future, Analysing and identifying the new skills required of the current and future workers in a globalized world. Considering the changes by globalization, consumers, new concepts of family and longevity of people. With the new skills defined we will create training modules that will allow the acquisition of these new skills, and their learning objectives in e-learning format.

INTRODUCTION Elaboration of scenarios by analysing : The crisis situation affecting the EU furniture sector, The globalization, The implementation of innovative materials with low environmental impact, The evolution of consumers with new demands due to new lifestyles and longevity for themselves, The rules and legislation developed in recent years that directly affects to the furniture sector, etc. With the skills defined the project will elaborate a self assessment using a survey.

DOCUMENTS TO ELABORATE DURING THE PROJECT Mapping to collect the current business situation and studies related to the furniture industry in each country. Mapping with the future scenarios to the furniture sector in a completely globalized world with new business models that will mark the competencies, skills and knowledge that must have the employees. New competencies due to the relationship skills needed to address these new business models. Development of an interactive questionnaire way to allow both current employees of the companies to self- examination, determining if they have these new competencies or not. Technical training materials in e-learning format that will enable the acquisition of those skills. Pilot test evaluation training materials.
