State system Democracy and constitutional monarchy Doesn‘t have constitution Legislative power have bicameral parliament which is formed by House of Commons and House of Lords Executive power have prime minister In Scotland is local Parliament and in Wales is National Assembly Members of parliament are called empees

King/Queen Head of executive, legislative and judicial power According to Act of Settlement (1701) only non-catholic descendants of Sophia of Hannover can be king or queen Is also head of Church of England Have foremost ceremonial function Signs every law to become valid Current queen is Elizabeth II.
