Building Background Discuss as a class What are some jobs that the firefighters do at the fire station? What kinds of vehicles are kept at the fire station? What kinds of equipment are kept at the fire station?

Why should we be responsible for doing a good job? Look at the picture on pages 198 and 199. How are the firefighters being responsible? Why should we be responsible for doing a good job?
