The Modern Lecturer – tutor and coach Goals, beneficts and results

The project The Modern Lecturer – tutor and coach implements an innovative teaching system based on the academic tutoring method in the TWP Higher School of Pedagogy in Warsaw. It is based on close cooperation and personal relationship between the teacher (the master) and the student.

Improvement of the level of education in the TWP Higher School of Pedagogy and implementation of a specially designed Academic Tutoring System Enhancement of the competences of the lecturers of the TWP Higher School of Pedagogy in Warsaw Improvement of the conditions of self development and studies for students Projects aims

Training on tutoring and coaching - to enhance the competences of the lecturers Foreign placements – experience exchange during the visits in foreign academic centres (universities, higher schools etc.) – two 14-days placements for 6 lecturers (3+3) Study visit in Poland – possibility to gether more practical information on tutoring and coaching – two 5-days visits for 6 lecturers (3+3) Academic Tutoring System – implementation of leading educational system in Poland Tutorials – individual regular meetings with students Consultancy – the lecturers get the support from the experts on tutoring and coaching Benefits for lecturers

Training on innovations and creativity – the TWP Higher School of Pedagogy students will have new subjects that will preapare them for the Academic Tutoring System Tutorials - individual regular meetings with lecturers that give students the possibility to develop skills and competences (exchange of ideas, discussion, etc.) Taking part in the project gives students the chance for scientific development. Benefits for students

- 36 lecturers complete the training - 6 lecturers complete 14-days foreign placements - 6 lecturers complete 5-days study visits in Poland - Academic Tutoring System - publication on Acedamic Tutorig System - 92 hours of consultancy made by the experts on tutoring hours of tutorials for 300 students - 3 publications with the esseys written by students -- 2 new subjects for students: innovations (1800 hours) and creativity (1800 hours) - didactic aid for students Results
