How does it look in the classroom

So, prepare your class by… Lights Phones, laptops, focus Music? Bring attention to here and now Body, posture Awareness checks Breathing awareness

How do students feel about it? “I would definitely suggest teachers do it in their classes because mindfulness releases all the bad thoughts and negativity. It also helps me be more focused.” “I think mindfulness could benefit many kids going through the stresses of school and more. If teachers practiced it in their classes, I think the effects would be really positive.” “I think mindfulness is good in the classroom because it helps everyone calm down before beginning the lesson and helps quiet some of the noise” “I love practicing mindfulness because it makes me feel more calm and more connected to the present moment. I also get to connect with my own self.” “I like practicing mindfulness in class because it gives me a moment to relax. I always feel refreshed and prepared for class afterwards.” “Mindfulness helps me feel less worried about my classes because mindfulness reminds me that it’s going to be okay if I work hard instead of worrying a lot.”
