7 SETTLE IN Whole Group: How do you feel after taking 3 collective breaths? What shifts did you notice happening inside you? When might it be helpful for you to take deep breaths in your daily life? Pointers – inhale LOVE/SUPPORT and SIGH OUT whatever may not be serving you (STRESS/FEAR). Trauma – always give option to soften your eyes or close them if you like. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE Diaphragmatic breathing lowers cortisol and stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system to induce a state of calm.

8 MINDFUL MOVEMENT “Peaceful Warrior”
Find a partner and talk about what you were thinking, how it felt during postures, how it feels now and when it would be good to incorporate posture. Builds strength and stamina, increases energy, enhances mind-body connection.

9 MINDFUL MOVEMENT “Power Pose”
Harvard Researchers found that this pose can increase testosterone (confidence) and decrease cortisol (stress). Improved test scores. 3 Breaths! Bring hands to heart. Notice how you feel.
