Ruth 3:1-2 – “Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee? And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshing floor.”

In my Father’s house are many mansions: If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

III. The Place of Rest A. He had the Right Reputation Ruth 2:1 – “And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband’s, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz.”

He had the Right Resources • He could afford to pay the price to redeem Ruth I Peter 1:18,19 – “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from you vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”

He had the Right Resolve • Boaz wants her to know that she can come to him for her needs • Jesus has done everything in His power to show that He loves us Revelation 22:17 – “And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
