In Sweden, food industry had sales of 261 billion and catering 99 billion in 2015. This corresponds to approximately SEK 3 000 per person per month, or 18% of total household consumption. While the increase was five times greater in the restaurant industry (15.6%) as for the food industry (3.2%) between 2007 and 2015.
