Click on the File menu item Then Click on Options
Click the checkbox to select Solver Add-in. Then click OK Click the checkbox to select Solver Add-in. Then click OK. You will be returned to the Spreadsheet page.
In the Menu ribbon, select Data In the Menu ribbon, select Data. At the right hand of the Data menu you will a section labeled Analysis. In this section is the Solver tool.
Clicking on Solver will open the Solver Parameters dialogue box Clicking on Solver will open the Solver Parameters dialogue box. This is where you specify the Objective, the solution cells, and the Constraints. Note: this dialogue box is different in 2010 than in 2003 and 2007.
