Welcome Back !! 2017-18 School Year Titan Pride

15 minutes or more late will earn a working lunch detention School Attendance Come to school and you will do better in school!! Expected to attend school each day and arrive on time If late then you must report to attendance office. If Unexcused late to school: 15 minutes or more late will earn a working lunch detention Tardy to school 14 minutes or less 5 times will result in detention

Leaving School Early Need note or parent/guardian must call to inform us in the morning Bring note to attendance office Student given pass and student must sign-out & meet your parent/guardian at the attendance office

Clinic (Nurse) Must receive a pass from your teacher Last resort When to ask: emergency, fever, severe stomach pain or vomiting

Hall Passes Students must have a hall Go directly to your destination Be respectful in hallway and move quietly

Electronic Devices All electronic devices should be silenced and secured Use of an electronic device may result in consequences and/or device confiscated. If device is confiscated then it will be returned at end of day. Second time confiscated then parent must come up to school.

Lockers Students are encouraged to purchase a lock from main office All locks used must be purchased in the main office Secure your valuable items with a lock!! PE locks will be loaned to students by PE teachers

TOYS/FIDGET SPINNERS Fidget Free School Toys are also not permitted Rules are to limit distractions and avoid instances of theft

Arriving to school Cafeteria – breakfast only Auditorium- sitting waiting for the bell to ring Follow the dismissal procedures Be respectful of the school building No food in auditorium Students exiting outside must walk carefully

Leaving School Car riders – Outside of auditorium – Be careful of cars Walkers- Go directly home Do not visit BPM Bus riders in front and buses leave by 3:30 PM Walk, Walk, Walk

Bus Behavior RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, SAFETY Stay Seated Be Respectful Hands, Feet to self, Objects to self Remember it is a privilege to ride the bus

Cafeteria Expectations Sit at your assigned table Keep area clean Be in control Follow all directions and expectations Assigned seats Rotate after a few weeks Helps maintain order, teaching you to be responsible, meet new friends.

Name Calling/Teasing/Bullying Be Respectful WRONG is wrong Even if everyone is doing it. RIGHT is right Even if no one is doing it. Communicate with an adult if there is a problem

Positive Behaviors Earn rewards in classroom, hallways, cafeteria Earn Student of the Quarter, Student of the Month Team rewards

School Rules Student Handbook available on our website Focus on Respect, Responsibility, Safety Repeated behavior problems = bigger consequences (SMR) Student Management Room/202 assists with student attendance, PBIS initiatives, tardy infractions and assigns consequences for those students removed from a class. If sent to SMR/202 for behavior then we work to get you back to class. Students will earn a consequence for being sent.
