Laundry Tickets

Laundry Tickets Separate ticket colors for each barracks Barracks names are also on the ticket Additional tickets = laundry or Supply SGT Basic information – CWID, Unit, Name, Room #, Date – MUST be shown Method of return delivery Deliver to barracks or cadet pick-up

Laundry Bags Two types of bags Cotton bags Mesh bags Issued 3 cotton bags Mesh bags Issued 4 net bags Battalion colors on the bags 1st – Red 2nd – White 3rd – Blue 4th – Yellow 5th - Orange

Laundry Preparation One net bag – only white items Undershirts, gloves, white socks, under clothes, bras, handkerchiefs, webbing, wash cloths and towels All items in this bag will be bleached in the process of washing One net bag – only colored items All net bags are washed, fluff dried and returned in the bag, “as is"

Laundry Preparation Net bags are placed inside a cotton bag Also in the cotton bag are: Duty pants, duty shirts, summer leave shirts, ACUs, white trousers, white dress blouse (remove buttons), sweat shirts, sweat pants, bath robe Do NOT put summer leave pants or any wool uniform items in a laundry bag Complete the ticket – top two copies in bag / retain bottom copy for your records

Laundry Schedule Cadre period – daily drops / pick-ups Regular year – Should have one-day turn-around during cadre Regular year – Weekly drops according company schedule One company per battalion each day of week Should be returned in two school days Drop off before breakfast

Dry Cleaning No charge for: Summer Leave trousers, field jackets, Dress and Full Dress blouses, wool trousers, overcoats Other items may be cleaned at the cadet’s expense: Personal clothing items

Lost Laundry Go to the Laundry May also contact the Laundry Within 48-hours of return to barracks Two days past when it should have been returned May also contact the Laundry 843-953-WASH (9274) laundry@citadel.edu

Additional Information Thrift Store – Donated items available for issue at no charge Open to all cadets
