Keep Calm and do a Homework Project! Maths: Make a numbers poster about all the numerical facts about WWII English: Research a bombing story during the blitz and rewrite it as a newspaper article Read The Diary of Anne Frank , The Silver Sword, or any other novel about the war and write a book review Write a letter from anyone who may have been involved in the war History : Create a powerpoint or mini booklet on your local area during WW2 Interview someone from your family who experienced evacuation or knows stories about their father or grandfather in the war. Art/DT: Create a portrait drawing/painting of a significant person from WW2 Create any 3D object used in WW2 e.g. Make a plane/tank/shelter/army ration box/gas mask etc Geography: Write about an aspect of the war fought in another country Draw a world map or British Isles map showing where children where evacuated from and where they went Music: Learn the words to Vera Lynn We’ll meet again and write your own uplifting song for the war
