Literacy Practicum Course Information Literacy Practicum – typically the semester prior to student teaching. For more information see: http://www.unco.edu/teach/LP.html Weekly schedule: Two days (MW or TR) on campus taking the following methods courses: EDEL 450 – social studies and math methods SCED 475 – science methods: specific lecture/lab EDEL 445 – intermediate literacy methods EDEL 421 – math practicum EDEL 446 – Literacy Practicum - two full days (opposite days of methods courses) in an elementary school with a mentor teacher
