Guide to Assistive Technology : To Support the Work of the PTI/CPRC Network Print version Digital version TB

Process of Guide Creation and Revision: Started with AT needs assessment Multiple different focus groups (6) Direction from the needs assessment Review of proposed content Review of print binder Review of electronic binder Extensive editing TB

Intended Use of AT Guide: Learning resources for parent center staff to become more knowledgeable of AT and related topics to help families. Share applicable articles and resources with families. Point families to CTD website to learn about relevant information TB

Tips to Use Print Version of AT Guide: The table of contents outlines the sections. Each section begins with a cover page giving a brief description of the topic. Subsections include: resource listing, descriptions, an estimate of the time required to engage with the content, and printed copies of resources. Subsections are color coded: Print Resources: Red Additional Resources: Blue Spanish Language Resources: Yellow Local Resources: Pink Skip – Switch to camera

Tips to Use Electronic Version of AT Guide: The table of contents outlines the sections with clickable link navigation to sections. Each section begins with a cover page with a brief description of the topic. Subsections include: resource listing, descriptions, an estimate of the time required to engage with the content, and a link to go directly to the resource page on the CTD website. NOTE: If you click on a resource and it does not work properly, check to see if you need to update any computer programs to view the resource, or try using a different browser. TB
