General Expectations and Proxy Servers Use in accordance with the LMH BYOD Agreement and LCSB Acceptable Use Policy and Student Code of Conduct. Students are not allowed to use a Proxy Server to “get around” the school firewall for any reason. Use of a Proxy Server will mean the students have violated their BYOD and LCSB Agreements and will have their accounts deactivated and the ability to bring their device to school revoked. Adhere to all school and classroom rules on the appropriate time and use of the device. School Personnel may confiscate or search device at their discretion if suspected of violating school or district policies (i.e. inappropriate content, cheating, etc). Parents may be required to pick up the device Student may lose the privilege of bringing their own device depending on the severity and frequency of the infraction.

Camera App Prohibited from taking photos at school with your personal device during school hours unless for an assignment at teacher instruction. If you are found taking pictures of other students without their permission or using your camera during school hours you WILL lose the privilege of utilizing your own device. Zero Tolerance.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Devices Each student is responsible for his or her own device and should use it responsibly and appropriately Lake Minneola High School takes no responsibility for stolen, lost, or damaged devices, including lost or corrupted data on those devices While school employees will help students identify how to keep personal devices secure, students will have the final responsibility for securing their personal devices

Wi-Fi Connection Personal devices may only be connected to the LMH BYOD wifi account We will be working on a new network this year and at some point students will be required to register their device and this will be the ONLY device allowed on our Wi-Fi.
