Equipment for learning 22 Please explain that No student should have their mobile phone out during a lesson. Please do not allow them to use their mobile phones in lessons. Please take the phone from the student if you see/hear a phone & send to reception. If a student refuses to hand it over, they will get a HOD detention & be referred to their HOY/HOD at the end of the lesson. PEN PENCIL RULER EXERCISE BOOK You will be given a FW every Humanities lesson if you do not come to lessons correctly equipped. This will be logged on SIMS and in your planner. Business& Economics Citizenship Geography History Law Homework for learning If you do not hand in your homework you will have a FW and an afterschool detention for 30mins with your teacher written in your planner. If you then bring the homework the following day the detention will be crossed out. If you have 3 FW in a half term you will automatically get a Head of Faculty detention. Business& Economics Citizenship Geography History Law Attitude for Learning If you do not behave appropriately or complete the amount of work expected from you: Friendly warning – your chance to think & choose. If this continues, a FW will be given, logged on SIMS & written in your planner. If you still choose to continue not to work or continue to not behave, you will get a staff detention for 30 mins after school. If you still choose to continue not to work or continue to not behave, you will be given a HOD detention & removed from the class to the faculty removal room. Extreme behaviour will result in being removed from the class & you will also get a HOF detention. You also need to get rid of anything you are eating before entering the classroom. If your uniform does not stay to the high standard we expect or you are found to be chewing in the room – FW will be given & written in your planner. Staff detention for 30 mins.
