TF NEEDS ASSESSMENT The country's commitment to each of these measures will have to be classified into Types A, B and C as follows: Type A Provisions that Tanzania has already implemented or designated for implementation in the near future. Type B Provisions that Tanzania has designated for implementation after a transitional period requiring additional time. Type C Provisions that Tanzania has designated for implementation requiring a transitional period of time and technical and/or financial assistance and support for capacity building.

INSTITUTIONAL TF INNITIATIVES High level committee of Permanent Secretaries (it is sort of a one stop center for policy) as mentioned above One Stop Border Posts – established at borders for inspection to be conducted only ones (in the country of exit) is being established in Namanga, Holili, Lungalunga, Mtukula and later Tunguma, Rusumo, Kabanga and Kasumulu One Stop Center – established at the Port, borders and weighbridges; it is a one stop for all inspections by respective institutions involved in regulating import and export trade. It is already in place in the port and in 6 borders namely Namanga, Tunduma, Kasumulu, Rusumo, Kabanga and Mtukula. Plan is to roll to other borders Integrated border management - Joint operations through the Joint Border Committees. A partnership consultative approach involving both public and private sector stakeholders at borders. Single Window ; Single Window concept refers to a facility that allows parties involved in trade and transport to lodge standardized information and documents with a single entry point to fulfill all import, export, and transit-related regulatory requirements electronically. Central and Dar es Salaam corridors - one stop centre for inspection along the corridors
