Victor Hugo

 Victor Marie Hugo was a French poet, novelist and dramatist of the Romantic movement. He is considered one of the greatest writers all over the world. In France Hugo’s literary fame comes from the poetry, but also rests upon his novels and his dramatic achievements.

My favorite book

The plot of the book  Jean Valjean, known as Prisoner 24601, is released from prison and breaks parole to create a new life for himself while evading the grip of the persistent Inspector Javert. Set in post-revolutionary France, the story reaches resolution against the background of the June Rebellion.
