Step by Step Process of CPL 1.Contact CPL Coordinator to get started 2.Check with assigned evaluator to discuss possibilities 3.Obtain CPL Guidelines from evaluator to prepare 4.Pay non-refundable fee at bursar’s office ($50/$150) 5.Meet with evaluator to complete assessment 6.Remaining paperwork takes 1-2 weeks Confirmation letter sent

Limitations & Qualifications of CPL Must be an enrolled student CPL credit is ungraded and listed as TR (transfer) CPL is generally not transferable to another college unless the course is part of a completed MassTransfer program that matches the same program at a state college or university, e.g the Business program at MCC transferring to the Business program at UMass Lowell. MCC is not able to evaluate subject areas where the college has no matching courses or subject areas offered.
