“Our So Gentle God” Isaiah 40:10-14,25-31

“Woe to me! I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the L ORD Almighty.”

He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.

John 10:14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.”

Tends his flock Tends his flock Gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart Gently leads those that have young Gently leads those that have young

This verse clearly states that God in Jesus makes sure we are taken care of! Not only that but He takes us into His very loving arms and holds us close to His heart. Imagine holding a new born baby. They are so fragile but you carry them and hold them close to you and you love them.

Now imagine God doing that with us. It’s amazing because His love never fails and His love sustains us. We are human beings, when we are faithless, He is still faithful. Let God love you. Let Him mend your broken heart. Give Him a chance to hold you in His arms and close to His heart and see what He’ll do. Will you let Him?

FOR If God is all you have, you have all you need.
