o CCI Dobrich is the biggest business support organization in the region of Dobrich, part of the network of the Bulgarian Chambers of commerce and industry; o CCI Dobrich is a non-governmental organisation established on the principles of voluntary membership and financial self-support; o CCI Dobrich offers services and assistance to members, individuals and non-member companies.

GOALS OF CCI DOBRICH o To increase regional economic growth and prosperity; o To stimulate international trade and investment; o To encourage international exchange and promote the interests of member companies on local and international levels.

STRUCTURE The CCI – Dobrich is a host structure of: o Enterprise Europe Network – member of the consortium EIIRC-BG; o “Euro-Dobrogea” – Resource Centre for Business and Innovation Romania-Bulgaria; o National Center for Professional Training; o INTEGRA network - 22 Mediterranean& Balkan Business Centres

ENTERPRISE EUROPE NETWORK - DOBRICH From 1999 till 2006, CCI Dobrich was host structure of Euro-Info Center, which provided value-added services to SMEs in the region of Dobrich, on EU subjects. Within the CIP program ( ) CCI – Dobrich is one of the host structures of the Enterprise Europe Network ( ) - the largest network of contact points providing information and advice to EU companies on EU matters, in particular small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The Enterprise Europe Network fully exploits the synergies between all support services and helpdesks aimed at European businesses. The “one-stop shop” service is accompanied by a “no wrong door” policy. The Enterprise Europe Network offers a comprehensive range of services for European SMEs and entrepreneurs, providing tailor-made solutions at any stage of a company’s life cycle: Providing information and practical advice on market opportunities, European legislation and policies relevant to a company or sector. Helping SMEs to find suitable business partners using its business and technology cooperation database, providing information on tender opportunities and international networking.

SERVICES PROVIDED BY CCI - DOBRICH o Information, assistance and consultancy on legislation, environment, internationalisation, information society/e- commerce, health and safety, market access, public procurement, research and development, standardisation /certification/ quality, fiscal and taxation issues, access to EU and national funding, etc.; o Organisation of trainings, workshops, information events; o Initiation and organisation of business missions and b2b meetings; o Promotion and assistance for participation to fairs and exhibitions;

SERVICES PROVIDED BY CCI - DOBRICH o Services related to foreign trade- issue of certificates of origin and other documents, registration in the BCCI Trade Register, registration of representation of foreign company in Bulgaria; o Translation and legalisation of documents; o Marketing researches; o Consultancy and assistance on Start up of businesses; o Project development and project writing; o Consultancy on project implementation and procedures; o Business planning for SMEs.

DOBRICH REGION o Located in northeast Bulgaria in the hilly Danube plain. The bordered with the Black sea, the Danube river and Romania coincide with the national borders. o The territory of the Dobrich is a unique mosaic of natural and archaeological sites of interest. Preserved remnants of ancient Greek colonies and Thracian cultural centers, medieval citadels and ethnographic landmarks are all places of cultural interest. o developed Agriculture, Renewable Energy, Trade and Tourism; o regional policy: knowledge and innovation for growth, creating more and better jobs and business friendly environment.
