Chief Executive’s Statement: Le Bas International has been a member of the Global Compact initiative since I am very please to confirm that we continue to support this initiative through the adherence of the ten principles on human rights, labour, the environment and anti- corruption. As a company who has entered its 21 st year in business with a sound reputation behind it and as company who operates on a global scale we are always aware of the importance of incorporating these principles into to our company culture and day to day operations. We continue to support and advance these principles within the sphere of our influence and are ever mindful of their importance. Peter Le Bas Chief Executive Officer Le Bas International

Human Rights 1.Support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights 2.Make sure we are not complicit in human rights abuses. Le Bas International continues to support and respect the protection of proclaimed human rights and ensures that any of our business activities are not complicit in human rights abuses. Staff are aware that the companies compliance with these principles take priority over all other matters.

Labour Standards 3. Uphold freedom of association and effective recognition of right to collective bargaining. 4. The elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour 5. The effective abolition of Child Labour 6. The elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation Le Bas International is an equal opportunity employer. We exercise fair recruitment practices and discrimination with regard to gender, racial, religious or ethnic aspects is forbidden. In May 2010 we ran a company wide educational program on child labour. Each employee was informed of the aspects of child labour including cause, implications and current endeavours to abolish it. Discussion was encouraged as to how we as a company and as individuals can assist in the abolition of child labour. Since then we continue to update employees on further developments of labour laws and the ongoing endeavours to combat child labour.

Environment 7. Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges 8. Undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility. 9. Encourage the development and diffusion of environmental friendly technologies In September 2007 we introduced our Carbon-Zero JetCard. This enables clients to eliminate 100% of the Carbon footprint produced by jet aircraft by offsetting the carbon emissions through a partnership with TerraPass. ( We continue to offer each client the option of off setting their carbon emissions on each flight. Waste separation and recycling was introduced in all offices and continues We are currently endeavouring to continue to use as little paper as possible. New computer programmes have been introduced which now make us almost entirely a paperless office. Our Shannon office is heated with natural gas and our electric needs are supplied by a company who obtain 5% of its supply from renewable sources. We are constantly on the look out to improve our carbon emission by sourcing suppliers who use renewable sources.

Anti Corruption 10. Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms including extortion and eliminating corruption. Le Bas International continues to insists that its officers, employee and suppliers conduct business in an ethical and fair manner. Any instances of corruption or extortion will not be tolerated.
