Presentation transcript:

By Brandon Bicknell & Brooke Mathiew

We had to design a table that can fit in a certain dimension room. It must weigh less than 50lbs and cost less than 200$.

My partner and I decided to do a round table with a 5 leg base. It would be made out of red oak and have a vintage design. It though would be rotational and have some new things in it.

The finished product weighs about 50lbs and costs 120$. It is made of red oak with the center being white oak. It has 14 screws in it. The top of the table is rotatable because the top isn’t screwed into the base. This also makes packing and shipping it easier because you can just take off the top.

My partner was very cooperative and wasn’t offended when I altered her design. The only problem was the holes for the screws didn’t match the dimensions of them. Also the table needed to be separated into individual parts to be assembled later. Other than that I have no complaints.
