MARKET SHARE GROWTH 2015 CEASA SUMMARY April 2016

OUT-OF-HOME THIRD FOR GROWTH Out-of-Home out performs total market growth Source: CEASA Total market growth was 8.4%. Out-of-Home achieved third best growth in the market with a 12.5% increase. Online increased in revenue by 26.1%. This is off the back of an update by the IAB to its reporting methodology In 2015 Cinema returned to it’s 2013 level of revenue. This comes off the back of a 20.7% increase due to a series of blockbusters. Radio also saw an increase of 5.1%. Television declined (Pay TV increased), as did Newspapers and Magazines.

OUT-OF-HOME GROWTH COMES FROM BOTH TRADITIONAL AND DIGITAL Digital has the fastest growth (but off a lower base) % Traditional OOH 92.9 % Digital OOH 17.0 % Total OOH Percentage growth in revenue in 2015 Source: OMA revenue reporting for Note: 2014 figures in these figures have been adjusted to reflect changes in OMA membership, as well as a minor adjustment due to over-reporting. As a consequence 2014 was adjusted to $579.3M, hence a 17.0% increase. By comparison CEASA does not adjust previous year’s revenue for Outdoor.
