Ethnic Breakdown

Demographics 12% of the student population at AMS are classified as Special Education. 15% of the student population at AMS are classified as 504. A total of 27% of the student population at AMS receive either SPED or 504 services.

Overage Students Grade 4.5=Total 7 overage students 6 students are 11 years old 1 student is 12 years old Grade 5:= Total 19 overage students 5 students are 13 years old 14 students are 12 years old Grade 6:= Total 27 overage students 8 students are 14 years old 34 students are 13 years old

Overage Students Continued Grade 7: = Total 29 overage students 6 students 15 years old 22 students are 14 years old Grade 8:= Total 31 overage students 3 students are 16 years old 21 students are 15 years old Total: 113 students overage in need of grade recovery

Health and Wellness 81 students have an IAP. 48 students receive Tier 2 & 3 RTI. 160 meetings have taken place this year. 48 meeting are currently pending.

257 out of 533 students have received office referrals. 1-5 Office Referrals= 183 students 6-10 Office Referrals= 50 students Office Referrals= 18 students Office Referrals= 4 students Office Referrals= 2 students

Teacher Effectiveness Rating According to student achievement results from % of the 18 teachers still employed at AMS from last year were rated below proficient. 39% of teachers were rated Emerging Proficient. 11% of teachers were rated Ineffective.

Student Proficiency 45% of our 8 th grade students (76 out of 170) scored Approaching Basic or Unsatisfactory on the ELA portion of the LEAP. 54% of our 8 th grade students (92 out of 170) scored below proficient Approaching Basic or Unsatisfactory on the Math portion of the LEAP.
