Director Awards Friday 23 rd October 2015

Clemence Miss Sanderson says… Clemence always does everything with a smile and tries her very best. She is a fantastic role model for her peers.

Arthur Miss Sanderson says… Arthur always has a go at completing a task to the best of his ability. He applies his wonderful imagination to all aspects of his learning and has a strong desire to succeed, this is particular evident with his phonics and writing.

Martha Miss Durham says… Martha always tries her hardest and really engages with all the challenges which is enabling her to make outstanding progress. She is already becoming so passionate about her phonics and writing and is being to write for different purposes in her play.

Leo Miss Durham says… Leo is an absolute pleasure to have in class, due to his kind and caring nature. He sets a fantastic example to his peers and is already well known around the school for his fantastic behaviour and manners.

Charlie Mrs Smith says … Charlie always has a positive approach to learning and play, as well as growing independently this term.

Alexia Mrs Smith says … Alexia is always looking for a challenge in her learning and continually showing responsibility in and outside the classroom.

Katie Miss Godsell says... Katie has been working especially hard with her phonics. She has learnt lots of new sounds since joining us in September and has shown a huge improvement in her reading and writing. Katie always listens carefully and tries her best.

Mariella Miss Godsell says … Mariella sits and listens beautifully on the carpet. She is always working hard and striving to achieve her best. Mariella is very polite and always remembers her please and thank yous!

Freya Miss Downing says … Freya has shown an excellent attitude towards all of her learning this term. She always strives for her best, and has impressed us all with her amazing handwriting! Freya is a pleasure to teach.

Louis Miss Downing says … Louis is an excellent role model, always listening and contributing in class. He is a kind and sensible member of the Birdwell community.

Andy Miss Hunt says … Andy really impresses me with his excellent effort and contribution in all areas of his learning. Andy makes sure that he always does his best and makes sure that he asks for any help if it is needed. He is always busy and keen to improve his ideas.

Nancy Miss Hunt says... Nancy has a perfect attitude and beautiful manners and behaviour all of the time. Nancy has really impressed me with kindness and thoughtfulness to all other members of the class. When there are visitors from outside of school in the class she is always a perfect example of a fantastic Birdwell pupil!

Antonino Mr Nolan says … Antonino always tries really hard in class and on the sports field. He is always ready to learn and do the right thing.

Maia Mr Nolan says … Maia writes lovely stories and always wants to learn as much as she can.

Josh Miss Brown says … Josh has a brilliant attitude towards everything he does, and is a pleasure to teach.

Evan Miss Brown says … Evan always tries really hard, particularly with his writing!

Frank Mrs Wallace says … Frank always has a smiley, positive and polite nature.

India Mrs Wallace says … India always has a thirst for learning (especially for science).

Molly Mr Wells says… Molly has been trying really hard in all areas of learning and has shown especially good progress in her English work, often extending herself with extra challenges.

Toby Mr Wells says … Toby always tries hard in class, is always smiling and positive and shows exceptional manners. He is a joy to teach.

Owen Ms Moisey says … Owen always makes excellent contributions and shows good thinking in whole class situations.

Keira Ms Moisey says … Keira is always happy to help me and others in the classroom with any jobs that need to be done.

Lana Miss Weiner says… Lana is a wonderful role model, she tries really hard in all subjects. Lana is a great friend and will always help others with their work and encourage her peers.

Bella Miss Weiner says… Bella has shown a fantastic attitude to learning this term. She tries her best in all lessons and is always very keen to participate and share her ideas with the class.

Lara Mrs Cavill says… Lara is a superb student and has worked with absolute enthusiasm and determination to improve on both her maths and literacy work. She is always ready to answer questions and presents work beautifully.
