National Archives Contains original founding documents: The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, The Bill of Rights, The Emancipation Proclamation, The Treaty of Paris

Iwo Jima Memorial Is an enduring image of WWII and the US Marine Memorial Image of five Marines and one Navy corpsman raising the flag on top of Mount Suribachi during the battle for Iwo Jima A 32-foot bronze statue

Mount Vernon Was home to George and Martha Washington for over 45 years Visited by over 1 million people annually

Library of Congress Nation’s oldest federal cultural institution Contains the largest library in the world Contains more than 18 million books, 2.5 million recordings, 12 million photographs, 4.5 million maps, 54 million manuscripts
