 Earliest known amphibians evolved from the lobe-finned fish 400 million years ago.  The lobe-finned fish had strong fins the eventually turned into.
Amphibians. Characteristics Amphibians are frogs, salamanders, and caecilian. Amphibians vary greatly but have a few common traits. Amphibians have moist.
Look at this bullfrog croaking!. Most male frogs and toads puff up their throats when they make a sound. Not all frogs and toads make the same sound.

The Project Is Amphibians

● What frogs like to do ● They like to: ● Swim ● And eat bugs

● Amphibians ● Amphibians are amphibians and are not reptiles because they lay eggs on water, they have a layer of skin, they have a backbone, they are cold blooded, and they live near water

● The word ● because it is from a Greek word. Meaning 'double- life, And as you probably know amphibians can live in and out of water.

● The amphibians ● Amphibians are divided into 4 groups: frogs and toads salamanders and caecilians

food ● the food that they eat is earth worms ● insects ● and ● arthropods

Amphibians habitats are: forests ● swamps ● Deserts ● Wet places ● Rivers ● Lakes ● Trees ● ponds

●1●1 facts ● Amphibians lay and hatch their eggs in water ● Amphibians sleep in the ground during really cold or hot weather ● Amphibians are found everywhere except Antarctica.their are over 3,500 species of amphibians in the world ● Amphibians have soft moist skin

● FACTS A pet toad in England was famous for living 36 years Tree frogs have sucker on each toe tip to climb trees or other things Some frogs have sticky mucus The skin of some poison dart frogs can kill ten people

● Frog body

● Caecilian body

● Salamander body

●.●. life The life cycle of most amphibians begins in water when the female lays eggs that are fertilized outside of her body. The eggs then hatch into larvae, or tadpoles, that breathe through external gills. The larvae grow flat tails and feed on vegetation. ● fact: Amphibians evolved from fish about 400 million years ago. Most amphibians spend there lives in water ● Amphibians live part of there life on land

birth ● they give birth by laying eggs. they give birth by laying eggs. ● They lay eggs by mating with other amphibians
