The Internet Created by Miss. Jurgensen LS Technology

What is the Internet? The Internet is a large group of millions of computers around the world that are all connected to one another.

How does the internet work? When you are sending information, like an e- mail, or receiving information, like when you are researching, information is sent from one “router” to the next until it reaches you, or it’s other destination.

Where did the internet come from? The Internet was created by people in the early 1960s who wanted to allow computers to share information in scientific and military fields. At first only the government and universities used the internet.

What can I use the internet for? You can use the internet to talk to people around the world, using , facebook, myspace, twitter, skype, etc. You can use the internet to do research, and look up information about any topic. You can use the internet to find directions on how to do something. You can use the internet to shop. What are some other things that you could use the internet for?
