Warrior Marching Band Step-Off Meeting 2 May 2016 Weber HS Band Room

Welcome/Staff Introduction Jeff Johnson – Assistant Director Ian Marshall – Percussion Advisor Bert Whitt – Percussion Assistant Shamra Johnson – Guard Advisor

Guard Information Shamra Johnson Guard Fees - $30 shoes + Marching Fee If a member has dance shoes already, they need to bring them in for approval. Once approved, the shoe fee no longer applies The guard will have Monday practices throughout the summer in addition to regular band rehearsals, please see calendar on website Guard camp will be July 26 th, 27 th and 28 th from 7a-11a. This camp is mandatory for all members. We will teach the Show work this week.

Drumline Information Ian Marshall Fall Drumline Audition Clinics: May 3 -4: 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm WHS Band Room Bring sticks, pad (if you have one) and a positive attitude Fall Drumline FINAL Audition: May 5: 3:30 pm - 5pm WHS Band Room. Sign Up for your audition time during clinics Line will be posted on Mr. Windsor’s Blog on May 6 th
