3 Clinics and Auditions Clinics: April 27- May 8 3:30-5:00 p.m. Auditions: May 9 10:00- 2:00 p.m. List posted by 3:00 p.m. May 9th. $30.00 for the clinics. Bring check payable to Fairfield Junior High by Thursday April 30th. Make sure you have your application filled out ready to turn in and I need a copy of your 3rd term report card for those of you in Jr. High. 3.0 gpa is required. Anything lower than that will put you on probation for Winter guard auditions.

4 Rules and Regulations Attendance: 90% is required To excuse an absence call or text Mrs. Bruckman 801 589 2268 Vacations? Fill out the form and turn it in to Mrs. Bruckman before May 30th. Be on time. We have a lot to do in a short amount of time, so it is important that you are on time. Dress: Shorts and t-shirts are fine. No tank tops are allowed due to school dress standard policy. NO JEANS!!!! You must wear tennis shoes. NO BAREFEET or FLIP FLOPS!!!

5 Rules and Regulation continued Be kind and respectful Don’t say anything unkind about anyone on the guard or working with the guard verbally or on Social Media. There will be consequences if you do. Directors have a great grapevine. Pay your fees when they are do. If you have trouble please talk to Mrs. Bruckman, so that she can find a way to work with you. At practice you need to have sunscreen and 1 gallon of wáter. We are outside and you need to keep yourself hydrated and protected against the sun.

6 Fees for the Summer Summer guard fees are $200.00 this year. This includes: uniforms Shoes Equipment rental, new flags Payment of directors Summer activities. Corps Encore tickets for the guard members

7 Payment deadlines First payment is due by May 15th $50.00 Second payment is due by June 15, $100.00 Final payment is due by July 15, $50.00 You can pay it entirely at the beginning or on the payment Schedule.

8 Fundraisers Possible: Car wash Mini guard camp Chick Fil A Other ideas. I like to do 1 for the Summer guard season.

9 Join Remind System Please join the remind system. I send out reminders about events or if for some reason practice gets cancelled. Enter 81010 in the To: box Text @f214a Send You should get some kind of text back telling you that you have subscribed.

10 Calendar Please notice the calendar on the back of the application form. Please notice the dates and times of rehearsals and other activites. You will need to add a couple activities to it.

11 Davis Rookie Camp June 8-10 7 am – 10 am @ Davis High School Field Show for 9th graders who have spun before. Anna

12 Corp Encore 2015 Where: Weber State University When: July 8 2015 Time: 7:00 p.m. Price $15 or $20 per ticket ( except for guard member included in their fees.) Which do you want? Possible clinic with Blue Knights before show. This would be in the afternoon. Bussing possible if you want to go as a group. We would have to determine what time and how much it would cost. We can fit up 54 on a bus.

13 Parades 2015 4th of July- Kaysville Meet at DATC at 9:30 a.m.. We will me marching with our school’s parade band. There will be a hand out later with the information that is necessary for parade. Farmington Festival Days parade. Do we want to do it this year or not? Band will not be doing it. July 11, 2015 Meet at 8:30 am around 100 E in Farmington. More information as time gets closer.

14 Fun Activities Welcome to Summerguard Party- May 12th Possibly at Classic Skating Summer fun party- June 11- Possible at Surf and Swim Corps Encore- July 8 Welcome back party August 25-

15 Volunteers President of Fairfield Jr. Colorguard Booster Organization: Volunteers for each party. Volunteers to bring wáter and treats for the end of the parade. Volunteers to possibly sew flags.

16 Uniform sizes Please fill out the size paper that is on the table, so that I can prepare to order the uniforms as soon as the guard is chosen.
