. Dolan Geiman

What I like about his art: I like that it looks weathered/ old. I like that he paints animals on the collage. I really like the repetition and variety of the one with the birds. I like that he cuts shapes out of magazine pages.

Find an artist: Contemporary (current- alive) artist or dead or famous. Makes art using collage/ mixed media. On a page in your sketchbook- white paper: – Write artist’s name – Info on Artist – Print out at least one image of their work. – Describe why you like their art.

Find an artist: He creates collages, shadowboxes, art decor, sculpture, paintings, rescued wood assemblages and more. Dolan infuses his work with his unique perspective of the world. He is a southern boy living in the big city of Chicago and his work is in large part based on this dichotomy, themes of both nature and contemporary life can be found throughout his work.
