Case Study – Supported and Supervised Accommodation For year olds The role of young people in the commissioning and procurement process:- -Attended/helped co-ordinate stakeholder event (March) -Young People’s views shaping commissioning intentions/ housing pathway / service model -Presented views at Market Engagement Event (Sept) -Provided training to young people regarding the tender process and the YP evaluation panel -YP Evaluation panel with 10% of overall weighting -YP will be working with us to performance manage the contracts Not Protectively Marked

Case Study – Eastern Region Foster Care Rolling Select List The role of young people in the commissioning and procurement process:- -Minimum Standards include Young People’s questions -questions on issues important to young people -written bidder responses evaluated by young people -4 participating councils each evaluates the responses to one of the questions e.g. working with their Care Council -Only providers who the young people have confidence in from their responses are on the Select List -Our Select List is tiered annually -Outcome questions also use issues raised by Young People Not Protectively Marked
