PAINTING CRISP LINES Objective: You will learn to paint crisp lines in order to have more control over your paint brush. DRILL: 1.Get a paint palette to share. Make sure there are at least 2 colors on it. 2.Get a brush and cup of water, too. 3.DRAW a square, circle, and a square with stripes in it in your sketchbook.

What is the difference?

Painting Tips: 1.Hold brush closer to the tip. 2.Rest hand on table for stability. 3.Go slowly. 4.Get more paint if edges are rough. 5.Twirl paint off tip and pick it up again. 6.Drag brush on edge of line. 7.Turn artwork to get best angle.

Which artwork would get a higher difficulty grade or extra credit? Are they both good?
