HERE WE GO TO GREECE By: Veroniqua Sanchez & Celina Torres Illustrated by:

Hi my name is Abbeline. I’m going to give you a tour of my home, Greece.

This is our flag. It has blue and white stripes. This is Greece. Its huge!

Here in Greece we wear similar modern clothing as Americans do.

Greek children don’t celebrate their birthdays, we celebrate our name day. Our name day is the day of the saint we were named after. My name is Abbeline which means god of the sun

Many Greek homes are located very close to each other with little or no yards. This is my house.

We have Greek Gods like……. Poseidon Zeus Aphrodite

Mount Olympus is the highest mountain in Greece.

We have over 63 different types of folk dance.

Well that’s it I hope you learned a lot about Greece. Bye
