 To build this project our group started with a metal ball, a wooden ball, some plastic tubing, a mouse trap, some bailing twine, and wooden sticks for support.  We attached the tubing to the wooden poles and then rigged the mouse trap so that it would fire another ball out once the first one set off the trap

 Our coaster starts by dropping a metal ball down the plastic tubing  Then the ball hits the mouse trap causing the mouse trap to go off and subsequently start the motion of our second ball which also travels down plastic tubing until coming to rest

 Our device uses the earth’s gravitational pull to propel both of the balls toward the earth.  It also uses the stored energy of the mouse trap to release the other ball and send it into motion

 In conclusion by using the power of earth’s gravitational field and the stored energy in our mousetrap our roller coaster is able to run its course for the allotted 15 seconds without human intervention.
