Meeting Our Transport Challenges (MOTC) cont… $900 million for Delivering a Better Link between the East & West of Melbourne, including:  Monash-City Link-West Gate Corridor Upgrade  West Gate Bridge Strengthening  The East-West needs assessment $1.1 billion to improve safety across Victoria’s network including the provision of safer level crossings across Melbourne (i.e. grade separation of some level crossings).

AusLink 1 AusLink 1 Projects Underway include:  Pakenham Bypass ($242M) – will be open to traffic in early December 2007  Deer Park Bypass ($331M) – 10 km, expected completion late 2009  Calder Highway Upgrade to Bendigo ($395M) – 42 km, expected completion early 2009  Geelong Ring Road ($380M) – 23 km, expected completion late 2008
