RISKS CONSORTIUM – Seismic and volcanic risks CiÊNCIA Seismic and Volcanic Risks - Proposal >WP3 COMMUNICATION AND CONSULTING Promote the quality and diversification of the information in real time to stakeholders and general public after an earthquake Establish a common platform for the maintenance and update of earthquake catalogues and of macroseismic data Develop training material and courses for civil protection authorities on seismic safety assessment of buildings Collaborate on the definition of a platform to provide open information about seismic risk and decision tools Promote public awareness of seismic risk and precautionary measures Organize a special session regarding the achievements of seismic and volcanic consortium activities in the 15th WCEE (Lisbon 2012) Establish contacts with stakeholders in order to integrate their perceptions, views and concerns in the seismic risk management process
