Rationale

Overview of NPA reporting and claim procedures

Purpose of reporting activities To allow programme bodies to monitor the development of the project To help guarantee a satisfactory achievement of the project results To provide quantification and continuous quality assurance of project outputs (quality objectives) To allow a cross-check with the project application or decision. To collect information for the NPA’s Annual Implementation Report To help disseminate information about the project to the wider public. To identify best practices in project implementation and publicity To approve minor project changes pre-approved by the Secretariat To assess the project’s risk profile

Reporting Activity Reporting consists of 2 parts: Partner Report: activities carried out by partner Project Report: progress of implementation Types of information asked: – Achievements of the project objectives and results, highlights – Development status of main project outputs, including output indicators – Status of work package activities, deliverables, and target groups reached – Measures addressing horizontal principles – Synergies with other strategies and programmes – Changes and other project implementation issues

Partner report in eMS Work flow The Partner Report consists of questions about the partner’s activities, and delivery of the main outputs Partner Report List of Expenditure Forecast and Contribution Attachments

Partner report in eMS The second part of the Partner Report is the List of Expenditure, where for each budget line, the expenditure is entered. The third part is Forecast and contribution, where partners are expected to give an estimate of their spending in the next period, and declare their in-kind and cash contribution.
