CEN WS/BII Our Approach to Interoperability A Profile is a technical specification describing: the choreography of the business process(es) covered, the electronic business transactions exchanged as part of the business process, the business rules governing the execution of that business process(es), its business collaborations and business transactions, as well as any constraints on information elements used the information content of the electronic business transactions exchanged, documented in the form of transaction Information Requirement Models based on a common vocabulary of business terms. CEN WS/BII Core information requirements BII is defining core information requirement models the set of information elements sufficient to cater for the generally expressed business requirements applicable throughout the European market.
