UNCLASSIFIED Z SATELLITE IMAGE Valid at Commentary Overnight thunderstorms now out over the sea, and mostly decayed and clearing away westwards. Further thunderstorms developed offshore during the morning and are continuing. Remnants of cloud from overnight thunderstorms that formed well to the east of Sierra Leone which moved westwards this morning and decayed. As this cloud tends to break later this afternoon, and in response to afternoon heating, some scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely to develop, moving westwards into Sierra Leone and continuing into the evening. Note: Crosses indicate recent thunderstorm activity – red being from the last 10 minutes.
