Commentary Last night’s storms now well out to the W over the ocean. New showers and storms have developed over the Guinea coast. Showers and storms have developed over SE Guinea, and locally deep convection is also now developing over Sierra Leone, Liberia, inland N Guinea and NW Ivory Coast. Extensive medium cloud over S Sierra Leone and to the SW, extending out over the ocean.

However, an organised area of heavy showers and thunderstorms, with squally winds, will move W across the area during the morning and into the afternoon. Behind this, further showers and storms are likely to develop, lasting through the evening before decaying or clearing W overnight. More low cloud, haze and mist will develop overnight.
