Hayes Park School

Mr Codd came to support our assembly too! What have we done so far? We did an assembly yo We did an assembly to KS1 and KS2 to introduce ourselves and ask the school what they thought would be good to pitch at the Dragon’s Den! Mr Codd came to support our assembly too!

jackets for school trips Ideas in the Post Box! High visibility jackets for school trips Signs to make cars slow down outside of the school A lollypop lady A speed camera More signs to tell parents that they can’t park outside the school High visibility wrist bands

We addressed some issues! We did an assembly yo We did a Road Safety Campaign for a whole week to raise awareness about a popular issue that seemed to be concerning the children at school!

Road Safety Campaign

What did we do next? We realised that despite our best efforts, parents were still stopping on the yellow zig zag lines and not following the rules! We decided that we couldn’t rely on the lines and needed to do something to make Raynton Drive a safer place.

Our Pitch We would like some new Hayes Park School safety cones to place outside of school to stop people from stopping on the yellow lines during busy times.

Our Pitch

BUT WAIT! THERE’S A PROBLEM! After lots of discussion, we spoke to the council who told us that this would actually be illegal! So we needed a new plan!

Our New Pitch As the posters that we had made for the Road Safety Campaign had worked so well, we decided that a similar approach would be a good idea! we would like a professional banner to be made for the railings outside of the two entrances to our school!

Our New Pitch

Thank you for listening
